I acknowledge the Wurundjeri-woi wurrung people of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of this Land, Birrarung-ga/Naarm, which is my birthplace and spiritual home. I pay my respect to their Elders, past and present.
I also consider this my Land line, my flesh and bone of this earth, of this place. My spirit connected through extensive lines of blood and kin. My family's footprints all throughout the ground beneath me.
I am a First Nations Wiradjuri woman, my traditional bloodline running through Country and waterways of the Central West region of NSW - Cowra.
Both my maternal and paternal branches traverse culture, time and place, extending through crooked paths of English, Celtic & Gaelic, East Asian, Central & West African, Nordic and Western European origins.
My spiritual guidance comes through direct ancestral access to these lines.
I have soul contracts and land connections with Persia through marriage.
The alchemy of my lineage has taken many moons to master, the currents strong to hold over time.
This work is an expression of that mastery - its simplicity as a universal codex is the distillation of this truth.
